West Cape Howe Zeepaard Sauvignon Blanc

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

The W.A savvys tend to be more subtle styles compared to their Marlborough cousins, and this one fits into that mould. There's still some lovely gooseberry and grassy tropicals on the nose, with a hint of guava, which pretty much translates to the flavours on the palate. It's all supported by zesty, lemony acidity, and a crunchy finish. So chill a bottle down and invite your mates round for a mid-week social evening.

Winemaker's Notes

Appearance: Pale straw with brilliant clarity.

Nose: The nose is fresh and aromatic with herbal overtones.

Palate: This Sauvignon Blanc is crisp and refreshing. Intense herbal characters are balanced with tropical fruits and a slight hint of passionfruit appears in the mid palate. The finish is persistent and offers a refreshing acidity.
