James Halliday (2012 Vintage) says
Bright colour, and bright in character, with clever winemaking enhancing the fresh red and black fruits on display; the palate is juicy; lively and evenly balanced despite finishing with a little prick of alcohol heat; excellent value for the price.

James Halliday (2010 Vintage) says
Bright colour; distinctly savoury with leather and tar poking through the juicy red fruit on offer; the palate is warm and engaging, and should be consumed early for maximum enjoyment.

Peter Forrestal (2008 Vintage) says
There's no holding back the folks from Westend in the Riverina and they love performing well in the Quaff tastings. Okay, I'm always delighted when this friendly family winery does well, usually because it offers such great value. This is delightfully fragrant, succulent and fleshy with vibrant redcurrant and dark plum flavours, finishing with balanced moderate tannins. Quaff on!
