Western Range Wines Shiraz Grenache

Expert Reviews

Max Allen & Peter Forrestal (2002 Vintage) says
This relative newcomer from the Perth Hills has made a favourable impression in our tastings for Quaff for the past two years. While we are not fans of this winery's grenache, we thought the shiraz grenache blend worth recommending. It has spicy, dark berry characters, is soft, round and medium-bodied with a smooth texture and a firm, tannic finish. Best with a hearty beef casserole.

Ray Jordan (2002 Vintage) says
A medium weight fruit driven wine made in a stylish friendly mould. The sweet raspberry notes of Grenache soar over the deep textured shiraz. It's a current drinking wine with an appealing warm rounded friendliness
