WINESTATE (2007 Vintage) says
Smells savoury yet fruity. Lovely and silky in the mouth with long, caramelly flavours.

Campbell Mattinson & Gary Walsh (2007 Vintage) says
Tempranillo tends to have sour aspects to it, so it can be an acquired taste. But once you do ... it's addictive. Personality plus. Tastes of fat, juicy red berries laced with Frangelico, and garnished with lemon rind. There are some flavours of dryish chocolate in the mix too. It's full-bodied and smoothly tannic with a slippery glycerol mouthfeel. Slightly warm (from alcohol) but really delicious in its own peculiar way. Walsh took a few mouthfuls and said 'this is going to knock Joe Public over in the aisles'.
