Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2011 Vintage) says
Dedicated to the memory of founder Greg White, the 2010 vintage was grown in the Awatere and Ure valleys. Mouthfilling and smooth, it shows lovely balance, delicacy and depth of tropical-fruit and herbaceous flavours, in a highly concentrated style with a basically dry (4.5 grams/litre of residual sugar) finish, balanced by racy acidity. The 2011 was grown in the lower Wairau and Waihopai valleys. It's a medium-bodied wine, still very youthful, with fresh melon, capsicum and lime flavours, dry (3 grams/litre of residual sugar), poised, tight and lingering.
