Whitehaven Marlborough Pinot Noir

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2010 Vintage) says
The 2009 vintage was matured in French oak casks (25 per cent new). Floral and ruby-hued, it's a very supple red with moderately concentrated strawberry, herb and spice flavours, showing some savoury complexity. A middleweight style, it's drinking well now. The 2010 is deeply coloured and richly scented, in a fruit-driven style with ripe plum and cherry flavours, a subtle seasoning of oak (French, 25 per cent new), good concentration, and strong drink-young appeal.
