Nick Stock (2011 Vintage) says
This has lovely violet fruit on offer, with a sweet baking spices and earthy notes too, maraschino cherry and light-blue fruits. The palate s supple and juicy with lovely, fleshy depth through the middle, good depth and density here, and gentle tannins to close.

Tyson Stelzer (2010 Vintage) says
This is quite a full-bodied pinot noir that has a bit of cherry and spice grunt about it. Smells of red and dark fruits waft out of the glass, along with hints of anise spice, chocolate and coffee. The palate is fleshy, smooth and slinky, with a core of dark fruits, licks of earthy spices, a touch of salami, fine tannins, and a soft, fruity finish that is bound to satisfy.

WINESTATE (2009 Vintage) says
Floral, ruby-hued, very supple red with moderately concentrated strawberry, herb and spice flavours, showing some savoury complexity. Middleweight style, drinking well now.
WINESTATE Volume 34 (2011) 2011
Michael Cooper (2002 Vintage) says
Matured in French oak barriques (40 per cent new), the 2001 is a vibrantly fruity wine with decent depth of cherryish, slightly nutty and spicy flavours and firm tannins. The 2002 vintage French oak-aged, has red-berry and slightly herbal aromas leading into a moderately firm wine with fresh acidity and good depth of plummy, spicy flavour. Drink 2004.

Michael Cooper (1998 Vintage) says
The 1997 vintage is a pretty wine, fragrant, lively and smooth. Barrel-aged for a year, the 1998 is freshly scented and full-bodied, with strong raspberry/plum flavours, gently oaked and smooth. A forward style, it's delicious in its youth.
