The funk comes from the mix of wild and cultured yeasts. It’s a striking and complex wine showing a beautiful combination of meal, stone fruit, cashew and citrus on the nose. The palate is based on exceptional fruit with good use of oak with extended lees contact. The result is stunning and one of the best chardonnays Wignalls have released.
