Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2010 Vintage) says
Bold, fruit-picked red, grown in estate vineyard at Bannockburn and Pisa, in the Cromwell Basin. Deeply coloured, mouthfilling and attractively perfumed, with concentrated, sweet-fruit flavours of plums and spices, hints of licorice and nuts, and finely balanced tannins. Best drinking 2014+.

A juicy and forthright pinot noir that has a wealth of deeply ripe fruit, really juicy plums and sweet earth too. The palate delivers bright, juicy and tangy dark stone fruits. Drink now.

Nick Stock (2008 Vintage) says
These guys have a significant holding of 35 acres split between Bannockburn and the Pisa Ranges. This has plenty of ripe mixed cherry fruit and a good serve of earthy herbs and leafy nuances, blue fruits and light plums. The palate shows some riper tannins and a deep, open throaty finish. Straightforward and flavoursome.

Stylish red, concentrated and supple, with vibrant cherry, plum, spice and nut flavours, showing good ripeness and complexity.
