Wildekrans Estate Wine Pinotage

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

For those looking for something new in the medium-bodied spectrum, give this South African pinotage a crack! It's quite a spicy number, with some plums, red fruits and tobacco leaf in the mix, along with a hint of smokiness. The palate is bright and smooth, with fine-grained tannins and a spicy finish that will have you reaching for a re-pour.

Winemaker's Notes

The Estate Range of wines was the first offering of Wildekrans’ repertoire when the farm began producing wines in the early 90’s; the range truly reflects the values and integrity of the farm’s dedication to the wine-making process. The range pays tribute to the Wildekrans terroir and its process of minimum intervention which produces bold, elegant wines with a dedicated undertone of oak influence. The Estate Range although premium, is competitively priced and at all times strives to deliver the ultimate wine-drinking experience.
