James Halliday (2011 Vintage) says
Strong purple-crimson; has exemplary cool-grown shiraz varietal character, with plum, blackberry, licorice and spice all on parade; the balance and texture are admirable, as is the contribution of French oak. Outstanding bargain.
James Halliday's top value wines $20 & under 2012
Ray Jordan (2010 Vintage) says
For an under-$20 this terrific fleshy fruit driven shiraz ticks all the boxes and then some. Savoury licorice notes on the nose. A little spice and some richer dark chocolate. The palate is generous and seamlessly balanced with a fine tannin and oak mix. An extra touch of mocha and dark plum provides a neat touch.

James Halliday (2010 Vintage) says
Medium purple-red; the voluminous bouquet accurately tells of the tapestry of plum, blackberry, spice and French oak that follows; fine ripe tannins add to the texture of this medium-bodied wine, its juicy fruit the last impression on the palate.
Tyson Stelzer (2010 Vintage) says
Geographe is Margaret River for an economic crisis, proven by the trophy for the best shiraz in the Geographe Wine Show going to a wine on special nationally for $13 at the time!
Wine100, December Edition 2012
WINESTATE (2009 Vintage) says
Classic "in-your-face" Aussie shiraz. Excellent varietal fruit mingling with chocolaty elements.

James Halliday (2008 Vintage) says
A brightly coloured, light- to medium-bodied shiraz with a fresh display of red fruits and spice, oak and tannins neatly folded in the background.
