Wine by Brad Mantra Abundance Cabernet Sauvignon

Winemaker's Notes

Deep, dark coffee chocolate... vanillan spice and cassis... blackcurrant and briary earth. Margaret River cabernet – typically gorgeous. French oak rounds out the nose and provides lingering aromas.

The palate is surprisingly creamy and lush, with blackcurrant and chocolate flavours, fine tannins... fleshy and flavoursome, ripe and textural all wrapped neatly in cedary, vanillan, toasty wood.

This is your reward. Goodness knows you've earned it. I mean how hard do you work? Well, pack the day away and revel in a glass of rich and lush Margaret River cabernet sauvignon.

Abundance – this is your mantra. Enjoy with anything or anybody sumptuous.

Expert Reviews

James Halliday (2010 Vintage) says
An attractive medium-bodied Cabernet, bringing blackcurrant, touches of olive and brier, and gently ripe tannins into play, framed by French oak. So well balanced it can be enjoyed now or in a decade.

Ray Jordan (2009 Vintage) says
This is just such a young cabernet yet the breeding and quality is clearly apparent from the time you start on the bouquet. Lifted perfumed scents of black currant and violets with a little cedary oak influence. The palate is remarkably seamless and finely balanced with the oak, fruit and tannin striking an impeccably refined balance.

Perfumed rose petals drift over a core of textbook Cabernet and a cascade of firm, fine tannins.
Give it time.
Ray Jordan (2007 Vintage) says
Robust and slightly muscular cabernet with some obvious blackcurrant characters on the nose. The palate is medium bodied with a pleasant softness. Ripe supple tannins and understated oak. It's a wine for earlier drinking.
