Wise Wine Sea Urchin Sauvignon Blanc Semillon

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

There is a reason why the Margaret River continues to soar with examples of aromatic white blends that offer immense value and flavour. Here’s a wise choice that we think is all about warm weather refreshment. Thankfully unlike the title it’s not made with sea urchins but it’s got the tropical herbaceous elements of Sauvignon Blanc alongside some citrus, grassy notes from the Semillon. What you get on the palate is an injection of crisp, fruity flavours, balanced by fesh, zesty acids. This is the perfect match for Asian foods.

Winemaker's Notes

A punchy vibrant wines that oozes passionfruit, lychee and manadarin on the nose followed by soft refreshing palate with hints of lime leading to a lingering finish.

This classic West Australian blend is thirst quenching and fruity, making it ideally suited to most cuisines. Easily enjoyed on its own or as an accompaniment to seafood, white meat or mildly spiced dishes.

The beautiful texture is the thing that lifts this wine above your standard SSB. It's a terrific mouth feel with flavours exploding with tropical melon fruit overlays with a light snow pea herbaceous dusting. Crisp fine acid supports a very long finish. Excellent wine.
