Wooing Tree Sandstorm Reserve Pinot Noir

Expert Reviews

Nick Stock (2010 Vintage) says
A big, swinging bottle of pinot that delivers an impressively complex and concentrated pinot noir, with plenty of capacity to deliver over the next few years; a handy wine indeed. Aromas are of gently fragrant, floral fruits and show a lovely, spicy, exotic thread, gentle game meats and more. The palate has layers and layers of flavour, and really nicely designed oak structure augments the juicy, long and assertive pinot noir fruit flesh. Great persistence here.

Nick Stock (2008 Vintage) says
This is a heavy hitter in bottle-weight and price terms, and boasts extremely fragrant aromas, meaty and gamey with lighter perfume and some ultra-ripe spiced dried fruits here too. The palate's packed with juicy fruit flavour, and a fairly generous serve of oak ensures there's a frame of tannin holding it all in for the ride. Bigger and meatier than the standard Wooing Tree, it's a more heroic style for those that like their pinots with punch.
