Michael Cooper (2006 Vintage) says
The 2006 vintage was grown on the Waimea Plains, hand-picked and made in a medium-dry style (7 grams/litre of residual sugar). Tightly structured, with ripe, citrusy, spicy flavours, it's a slightly minerally wine with some intensity and length.

Michael Cooper (2002 Vintage) says
Racy and rich, the 2001 vintage is a delicious mouthful. Grown on the Waimea Plains, it is a distinctly medium style (15 grams/litre of sugar) with strong passionfruit, pineapple and lime flavours, vibrant, punchy and tangy, and a slightly minerally, flinty finish. The 2002 is also impressive. Pale, tangy, slightly minerally and flinty, it shows excellent freshness and vigour, with citrusy, slightly sweet flavours, crisp and penetrating
