Campbell Mattinson & Gary Walsh (2008 Vintage) says
Maybe there's some sweetness to this red, but we doubt anyone will be complaining. It's certainly not over the top just enough to make it easy to drink. Cherries and plums and spice. No real sign of oak - it's a good example of the fresh, fruity, uncomplicated Aussie-red style. It's an easy wine to recommend.

Here's Ben Riggs and Tony Parkinson (from Penny's Hill) making some good quaffing red from Langhorne Creek. There's blackberry pastille and ripe plummy fruit, smooth almost silky texture and attractive balance. Very drinkable.

Talk about making a name for yourself: these 2007 Woop Woop reds are excellent. This one's sweet and curranty and maybe even a touch dusty - a good thing - with a lovely, smooth, sweet flow of ripe fruit flavour through the finish. No need to rave on - just drink up.

Pleasant red fruits on entry, moving towards darker flavors on the back-palate; minimal tannins

Ben Riggs and his lively band once again show that it's easy to produce good quality, excellent value reds from Langhorne Creek. Soft, round and easy-drinking cabernet that has good varietal character - ripe plum and blackcurrant flavour - almost silky texture and an approachability that makes it hard to resist. Why would you?

Strong colour; a big, brawny, barbecue-style red for real men, best left for a year or two.
