WINESTATE (2008 Vintage) says
Ripe stewed plum aromas with a nice earthiness and tomato leaf lift. Interesting flavours - tastes of raspberries, cloves and freshly picked tomatoes.

WINESTATE (2007 Vintage) says
Youthful crimson colour, lovely varietal lift to the nose and long, fleshy palate packed with juicy plum flavours.

Campbell Mattinson (2006 Vintage) says
Expect to see a lot more tempranillo on the market over the next ten years; there are too many influential folks too interested in it for it to fade away. This one is produced by the Hill Smith family - the family behind Yalumba. They reckon Wrattonbully is a great place to grow this variety. 2006 RELEASE It's a sweet-sour wine with flavours of hazelnut and dark cherries, minerally tannins edging through the finish. The wine is fourteen per cent alcohol but it seems warmer than that, perhaps because the mid-palate lacks oomph, and there's a vague sense of 'saltiness' to the wine. The wine is reasonable quality, but I'm finding it difficult to get excited, DRINK 2008-2010.
