Wyndham Estate Bin 777 Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

The masters of price blasters strike again with this bright and zippy sem sav blend out of South Eastern Australia, and what's more, it got a silver medal at the prestigious 2014 Sydney Royal Wine Show! Lemons and grassiness is the theme on the nose, whilst the palate is light, vibrant and super zippy, with mouthwatering citrus flavours, and a dry, crunchy finish. Some tempura veggies would be great with this!

Winemaker's Notes

Pale straw with vibrant green hues.

Fragrant lemongrass and citrus with nuances of gooseberry

Fine crisp palate with zesty citrus lime and fresh cut grass. An elegant soft wine with vibrancy and finesse.

James Halliday (2007 Vintage) says
Unusual herb and lemongrass aromas and flavours, almost earthy; bone-dry, and does have some appeal as a food wine.

A remarkable wine which appeared in the large-volume commercial class at the National Wine Show '06, taking the only gold and dispatching some very distinguished wines in so doing. Vibrant and crunchy, with great structure and flavour; above all else, did
