Vibrant colour; a highly polished and pristine bouquet of cassis, cedar, a note of eucalypt and well-handled oak; full-bodied, the palate delivers a long mineral and black fruit-driven experience, with fine-grained tannins and vibrant acidity providing definition on the long finish.

This single-vineyard cabernet has lovely elegance to it. Plenty of fine mint and fl oral aromas on the nose; this shows a distinctive facet of Coonawarra, with dark berry and a cedary oak edge too.The palate s fine and taut, showing a wealth of sturdy tannin that carries strong cassis and dark berry fruit flavour. Grips tight through the finish. One to age.

Red and black fruit chunky aromas bigger framed wine with a sweet nice mineral tannin edge and sense of running on rails all on the edges of the tongue no centre very fine tannins and subtle finish and licorice.

Good colour; an estate vineyard that was hit by the frosts in the spring of '06, ultimately yielding 2 tonnes per hectare of very concentrated fruit that comes through strongly on the fruit-laden palate, which also has wonderful texture, structure and length.

Another successful single-vineyard release from Wynns that succeeded in the adverse frost and drought of the '07 Coonawarra vintage. Low yields have delivered super-concentrated fruits: aromas of ripe plum and cassis, cedary spicy oak and fine red perfume. The palate is a juicy, vibrant mouthful of mixed berry fruits and fine, even tannins - terrific elegance and concentration here.
