A first-rate pinot of sumptuous depth and texture. Complex and perfumed, it's scented with red flowers cherry/plum fruit and briar with musky, meaty and earthy undertones. Long and textured, with firmish, crunchy tannins, smoky vanilla oak and a reserved, subdued presence o' deep red and black cherry/berry fruit waiting to unfold, it finishes with genuine length, structure and balance.

Sporting some really complex winemaking influence, the fruit smells cool and restrained: cherries, berries, some citrus peel and plenty of smoky/charry oak. Smoky palate, toasty oak stripes run from top to tail balanced aboard fleshy tannins and crisp acid, finishing fresh.
