Expert Reviews

James Halliday (2012 Vintage) says
Pale quartz-green; fresh and flavourful, with stone fruit and citrus to the fore, and a hint of subliminal French oak on th finish. The usual exceptional value from Yarran.

WINESTATE (2012 Vintage) says
"A well made wine". Melons and lemons on the nose, with an oak edge. Lovely depth and complexity of nutty oak and varietal fruit flavours.

James Halliday (2011 Vintage) says
A ridiculously low price for such a well-made wine, with white and yellow peach balanced by a gentle touch of citrus acidity and even more gentle toasty French oak. Small-batch winemaking and attention to detail have shone through in '11.

James Halliday (2009 Vintage) says
A manifestation of the surplus of chardonnay (even though it's estate-grown), for it has some truly attractive stone fruit and citrus flavours; the mention of French oak on the back label is interesting, for it's not obvious in the wine.
