James Halliday (2012 Vintage) says
Pale straw-green; a crisp and crunchy, organicall grown, gris with as much green apple as pear; I don't know about the gris (as opposed to grigio) name, but is it's what is in the glass that matters.

A remarkably focused and intense wine, with mineral acid, pear, apple and citrus pith and skin all vitamised together; considerable length.

James Halliday (1999 Vintage) says
Light straw-green; a quite intense, aromatic bouquet leads invitingly into an intense and powerful palate. The acidity is too high; had it been lower the wine would have been in gold medal territory.

James Halliday (1998 Vintage) says
Light green-yellow; the bouquet is clean and firm, with good fruit intensity and a touch of spice. The palate has both length and balance, with citrus blossom and honeysuckle flavours well in the mainstream of Pinot Gris, and offering much promise for the future.
