James Halliday (2009 Vintage) says
A well put together wine, with a mix of tropical and citrus flavours; good balance and not obviously sweet.

Defying the gloomsters, the success of [yellow tail] continues. This is now the biggest brand Australia has produced and it's not just because of the kangaroo on the label or some slick American-style marketing. Nope, it is undeniable that the brand has never let its consumers down. This relatively new addition to the family showcases the style wellÑfruity, soft, thoroughly more-ish and really well priced.

Spotlessly clean and fresh; grass, lemon and mineral flavours; not sweet; good length; very well-made.

The Yellow Tail phenomenon just continues to grow by the second. Between the time you started reading this review and now, about another thousand bottles of Yellow Tail have been sold somewhere in the world. This SSB, the newest addition to the range, is chock-full of fruit and a little sweetness, and goes down a treat with a bucket of prawns.
