The Collective Review

Arneis is a variety usually found in the Piedmont region of Italy and is locally known as the 'little rascal'. This version from the Hunter Valley shows exciting promise. It has lots of lime and fresh citrus, but it has a heavy palate weight. It's kind of a blend between Riesling and Chardonnay. For those looking to live a little!

Green apple, touch of minerality and florals detected on the nose. The palate is medium bodied, green apples and nashi pear with a touch of green grape and medium plus acid, very fresh, long finish.

Fresh, clean, easy to drink. Nice palate weight; it's palpable without being heavy. Well-textured, bit of spice. Lots of lemon and apple, grapefruit, nashi etc. Very moreish.

Tasting Notes

Fresh and vibrant wine with aromas of freshly crushed lime and jasmine. On the palate the wine is medium bodied with , kaffir lime leaf and white peach, to a medium mineral finish.

Winemakers Note

Arneis grapes were machine harvested. The grapes were then crushed, drained, and fined to produce a clear juice before fermenting in stainless steel tanks. From here, ferment was finished, and the wine was then filtered and bottled fresh ready to drink for your enjoyment.
